Dental dentils are tools used to detect tooth defects, assess tissue condition and sensitivity to stimuli. Periodontological probes, in turn, are tools designed to test the condition of the tooth surface, hardness and filling state of the tooth.
Dental tubes are tools used in dentistry to examine and treat teeth and gums. Their main task is to provide information about the condition of dental tissue, as well as to provide the dentist with access to hard-to-reach areas of the oral cavity.
The dents are usually made of high-quality stainless steel or solid plastic. These are probe-shaped tools that are used to study the health of the tooth and surrounding tissues. The indenter allows for a thorough examination of the gingival pocket, i.e. the space between the gum and the tooth, in order to detect gum diseases and tissue inflammation.
The indents are also used during endodontic treatment, i.e. root canal treatment. Then they are used to remove dead pulp from the tooth's root canals. However, it is worth remembering that the use of tubes should be carried out by a qualified dentist, because improper use of these tools may lead to damage to the tooth tissues and surrounding structures.
Periodontal probes are tools used in dentistry to assess periodontal health. These are thin metal tools that allow you to measure the depth of the gingival pocket, i.e. the space between the tooth and the gum. They are also used to test tooth hardness and determine the degree of tooth looseness.
Periodontal probes consist of a long shaft and a tip that is hook-shaped or probe-shaped. When examining a patient, the dentist gently inserts the probe into the gingival pocket, measures its depth and assesses the condition of the periodontium.
Periodontal probes are a very important tool in the diagnosis of periodontal diseases such as periodontitis. They allow for early detection of periodontal problems and implementation of appropriate treatment.
