Calcium hydroxide based temporary filling material

Application:

Barium sulphate-enriched calcium hydroxide material is recommended:

• as a biological dressing in the method of indirect and direct pulp capping.
• as a temporary filling of root canals.
• Supports the reconstruction of damaged tissues, has a remineralizing effect.
• Appropriately selected chemical composition ensures quick production of secondary and reparative dentin. The advantage of the product is primarily its stimulating effect to create mineralized barriers. It also has a drying effect, which is of great importance in cases of persistent inflammatory exudates.

Benefits:

• It is a soft, non-hardening material, after placing the preparation in the canal or cavity, there is an immediate, controlled, long-term release of calcium ions.
