Description
Preparation for rinsing and widening root canals
The product contains disodium edetate (EDTA), which reacts with the mineral components of tooth hard tissues (chelating effect), making them susceptible to mechanical preparation. Provides removal of the smear layer. The low surface tension increases the penetration of the preparation into hard tooth tissues.
Composition: 1 g of liquid contains 150 mg of edetate disodium.
Application:
- Rinsing of root canals: facilitates mechanical preparation of canals, removes the mineral part of the smear layer, reduces the risk of instrument breakage.
- Root canal widening: Facilitates the mechanical dilation of narrow and curved root canals, especially in the elderly. It is indicated for unblocking canals in the presence of obliteration and denticles
