Description
MEMOSIL 2 is a transparent A-silicone for special applications. The transparency of the material enables optical inspection of reference elements (e.g. radiographic contrast granules). It is also possible to light-cure filling and immobilization materials through the MEMOSIL 2 layer.
The material is best used for occlusal impression for light-curing composites for posterior teeth, impression of anterior teeth for temporary dentures, fillings and veneers, for setting reference points before taking an X-ray during planned implant treatment and also as a matrix for transferring orthodontic brackets to a plaster model.
