Biopulp 10 g - Calcium hydroxide dressing

BIOPULP is a calcium hydroxide preparation with a strongly alkaline reaction (pH is 12.5±0.5). It has a drying effect, which is of great importance in cases of persistent inflammatory exudates. It dissolves the remnants of living pulp after extirpation under anesthesia (analgesic effect) and dissolves organic debris in the canal in places inaccessible to tools. After placing the product in the canal, a controlled, long-term release of Ca2+ and OH- ions takes place. 

• dressing in the two-session method of indirect covering, aimed at remineralization of partially decalcified dentine,
• dressing in the treatment of the dental pulp using the direct covering method, which stimulates the formation of dentin bridges,
• dressing in the method of partial and total vital amputation in order to create a new vault over the stumps of the amputated pulp,
• for indirect pulp capping as the first layer of insulating base covering this tissue in the treatment of deep caries,

• temporary root canal filling in the treatment of pathological internal resorption of hard tooth tissues, especially when accompanied by spontaneous perforation of the canal wall,
• filling the tops of the roots with the so-called biological closure of apical openings,
• permanent root canal filling after endodontic treatment of milk teeth,
• filling the canal in root fractures inside the alveolus.

Composition: calcium hydroxide, dibasic calcium phosphate, magnesium oxide, sodium chloride, anhydrous calcium chloride, potassium chloride, anhydrous sodium carbonate. 1 g of the product contains 330 mg of calcium hydroxide.
