Description

For adhesive bonding or repair of silicate ceramics, GLUMA Ceramic Primer must be used prior to the application of GLUMA Bond Universal.

A light-curing, self-etch all-in-one adhesive for use in adhesive restorative dentistry.

GLUMA Bond Universal has been developed for the adhesive bonding and repair of direct and indirect restorations. In the case of adhesive deposition or repair of glass ceramics, GLUMA Ceramic Primer should be additionally used.

It is a universal bonding system that, depending on the indications, can be used in:
• SELF-ETCH TECHNIQUE, obtaining etching, preparation, adhesion and elimination of hypersensitivity in one step;
• SELECTIVE ETCH TECHNIQUE: maximum adhesion to tooth enamel can be achieved by selectively etching
enamel with phosphoric acid;
• ETCH & RINSE TECHNIQUE (total-etch) with an additional step of etching enamel and dentine with phosphoric acid

Application:

  • Adhesive bonding of direct technique restorations in all Black cavity classes using light-curing, self-curing or dual-curing methacrylate-based composites/compomers.
  • Adhesive deposition of light-curing, self-curing or dual-curing core build-up materials.
  • Sealing hypersensitive areas of the teeth.
  • Sealing cavities before placing amalgam fillings.
  • As an adhesive system for use with fissure sealers.
  • Sealing of cavities and core preparations prior to provisional seating of restorations in the indirect technique (according to the method of immediate dentine sealing).
  • Cementation of indirect restorations with light-curing, self-curing or dual-curing adhesive resin cements.
  • Intraoral repair of fillings made of compomer and composite materials as well as all-ceramic, metal-fused porcelain and metal restorations
