Application:
- It is a material in the form of a mixture of calcium salts for the preparation of pastes for dental fillings.
- Temporary intracanal dressing used between visits
- Treatment of infected root canals
- Dressing supporting the remineralization of partially decalcified dentine
- Dressing in the treatment of direct pulp capping, stimulating the formation of dentin bridges
- As a bactericidal pad to decontaminate canals during the treatment of irreversible inflammation and pulpal necrosis and chronic inflammation of tissues approx.
- As an intracanal insert to decontaminate the canals during the treatment of irreversible inflammation and pulpal necrosis
- As a temporary filling of the canal to stimulate bone reconstruction during the treatment of chronic inflammation of the periapical tissues
- As a permanent filling of the milk tooth canal
- As a canal filling in root fractures inside the alveolus
- As a root tip filling in the so-called biological closure of the apical openings.
Benefits:
- Long-lasting bactericidal effect and stimulating action to create mineralized barriers. It has a bactericidal effect, sterilizing the superficial layers of the pulp, and by neutralizing the environment, it soothes the inflammatory reaction.
- It also stimulates the pulp cells to produce a dentin scar (creation of a dentin bridge in the place of pulp exposure) and stimulates odontoblasts to produce reparative dentin.
