Pulpogel - Gel with iron sulfate
Gel with iron sulphate for amputation of vital pulp in milk teeth and stopping bleeding
Product code: PULPOGEL
Description
Gel with iron sulphate for amputation of vital pulp in milk teeth and stopping bleeding
Application:
- The preparation based on iron sulphate is used in pulpotomy procedures for intravital amputation of the pulp in primary teeth.
- The preparation is also used to stop minor bleeding during dental procedures.
The gel has a hemostatic effect: in contact with blood, it forms protein-sulfate complexes that close the openings of blood vessels. Its advantage is quick and easy application: the preparation is rubbed into the pulp stumps. Then, in the case of vital amputation of the pulp, after removing the gel from the chamber (air-water jet), zinc oxide with eugenol is applied and the final filling is placed.
The preparation can be used as a means of stopping bleeding from the capillaries of the oral cavity during dental procedures. The gel is strongly rubbed into the bleeding tissue, creating plugs of coagulated blood in the capillary openings. By rubbing the gel, the part of the clot protruding above the edge of the vessel is also cut off, creating a plug that permanently closes it. Tissues are cleaned with a strong stream of air-water spray, which allows you to remove clots, remaining gel and check the effectiveness of stopping bleeding.
